Zensō can add this device’s location to your photos, in place of a GPS unit on the camera. How the location gets into a photo depends on the camera and on how it’s connected.

How location reaches your photos
Z 9, Z 8, Z 6III, Z f, Z 5II, Z 5IIc, Z 50II and Z R, connected over Wi-Fi in STA mode as described in the Connection Guide.
Zensō sends your location when it connects, then again at the interval you set. The camera records it in the pictures it takes.
To send it right away, tap Sync in the Dashboard’s Quick Actions. This also sets the camera’s clock.
To see what the camera received, open Location data (smart device) under Connect to smart device in the camera’s Network menu.
Z 5, Z 6, Z 6II, Z 7, Z 7II, Z 30, Z 50 and Z fc.
These cameras can’t take location data over a wireless connection. Instead, Zensō adds the location to JPEG and HEIF photos as they arrive through Auto-download.
- Auto-downloadOn
The camera can’t take location data over USB, so Sync location periodically is unavailable.
As with EXPEED 6 cameras, Zensō adds the location to JPEG and HEIF photos as they arrive through Auto-download.
