    About

    Zensō is for Nikon Z-series camera users who want to operate the camera from an iPhone or iPad, in a studio, outdoors, or during longer unattended setups. Use it for Live View, capture, the camera’s gallery, downloads and location sync, over the local network and without touching the camera body.

    Zensō is a one-time purchase with no subscription, and everyone gets a 5-day free trial. On the App Store it is listed as Zenso: Camera Remote.

    Connection

    • Scan the local network and find supported Nikon cameras automatically.
    • Enter a camera address directly for custom or studio network setups.
    • Use the same remote workflow on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

    Shooting

    • Trigger the shutter and adjust key capture settings from the app.
    • Switch and manage shooting menu banks and Picture Control settings.
    • Use continuous shooting modes for action or sequence work.

    Live View

    • See what the camera sees in real time for precise framing.
    • Check brightness distribution and waveform while composing.
    • Load and preview restore LUTs to judge the final look before capture.
    • Scroll through thumbnails and open original previews quickly.
    • New images captured on the camera can arrive automatically.
    • Select multiple files and choose how downloads are stored.

    Location and status

    • Write your device’s GPS location to the camera for complete geotags.
    • View connection state, battery level, and camera information.
    • Follow connection and transfer progress on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island with Live Activities.
